Weekend events are held at Laura S. Walker State Park. It is a mere two hours from Savannah, less than that from Jacksonville, Florida and four hours from Atlanta, Georgia. The game begins at 8:00 PM on Friday night and ends at 2:00 PM the following Sunday morning. The game will take place on September 10th, 11th, and 12th at Laura S. Walker State Park in Waycross, Georgia.

How Much Does it Cost?

Avegost LARP is the cheapest LARP to attend in the state of Georgia (to the best of our knowledge) and for such a low price you get Elizabethan Theatre acting for Walmart Prices! Other LARPs in Georgia charge $45.00 to $60.00 an event but we reduce our prices to encourage players to spend more on their costuming! Event cost is based entirely on whether you're a new player or an existing one. Suffice to say at its most expensive it is $35.00 for an entire weekend worth of fun if you show up at the door. Less than a concert and it lasts three days!

Distance Discounts for "Atlanta Players"

Additionally you are welcome to take advantage of our discounts. Players who are traveling more than 200 miles to our event can have their cost reduced by $10.00 if they pre-register for the event. Pre-Registering means you pay before you arrive via check, money order, or paypal (please note, paypal incurs a $2.00 fee). We offer this discount to assist our players from Atlanta, Jacksonville, and other distances with their cost of gas of traveling to an event so far away! For years people in Savannah have made the trek to Atlanta for LARPs and have never received a price discount for their troubles and while we can't promise this discount will always exist we recommend you take advantage of it! $25.00 to LARP!

How do I "Pre-Reg"?

Pre-Registering can be done at www.Avegost.com/pre-register/ and gets you in the door for cheaper if you're a returning player. New players may play characters for $20.00 at the door (instead of $35.00) or monsters for Free.

What is the Campground and Where is it?

Avegost LARP uses the Laura S. Walker campground which is a primitive site with cabins.

• We will be renting around 4 cabins which can each hold 8 people.
• These cabins are not heated and are not cooled.
• There is a bath house with running hot and cold water and shower facilities.
• These cabins do not have kitchens
• There are grills (which require coals or firewood) outside.

Laura S. Walker does not permit space heaters or personal heaters within the cabins. Laura S. Walker does permit dogs or other pets however you must recieve permission from Avegost LARP's Head of Plot for animals to be present at the event.

There are various fast-food and other restaurants near the campground (within 20 minutes) and you also have permission to bring your own personal grill, realizing that of course you must use it outside. There are usable grills outside of the camp. The campground sells Firewood for $6.00 a bundle. Each bundle is larger than those bought at Walmart. We encourage players to maintain the immersion of the game and not leave the campground for food. On occassion, you may also purchase food from Avegost LARP for a nominal fee to cover the cost of said food. The meal plan will be discussed on the www.Avegost.com forums at www.Avegost.com/forum/
